I think you will beable to continue with out much hassel, you just have to be careful that's everyone you don't go to far. Just stop dead and take the key chamber out and what ever you do do not move anything

i had to complete the puzzle from sart to finish twice i kept locking it and really wanted to dismantel it like jazz says man when you get the chamber out just dont touch anything !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

even if you lock it again with the chamber out by accident you can still complete the puzzle it does not affect the mechanics of the puzzle promise!!!

yeah it was pretty cool...not too hard to sort out what was going on with it...just had to watch the green code like 100 times to convince myself i wrote it down right...
anyway....my puzzle is the only one that has worked so far..as far as i know...but i think steve's may have as well..hopefully all the newer ones will work as well...

I'm worrying about my Ramisis (which has finally been received - thanks to PUZZ for sorting it out). So far, I have worked out the clues (took me a while!) and have done the necessary to "begin", but I have seen no lights at all. (inc. the 'initial red light - although this has happened to a few)

I am worried that I will not see this so called 'green code' in order to carry on with the whole adventure of the Ramisis.

Steve, can you PM me? BUT, no hints on how to progress, I only need reassurance (if you can provide that)!

There have been a number of posts on this very topic already, unfortunately its a common issue. However Puzz has responded:

Dont worry about the lights at this stage, first you need to get the ramisis apart, then the RVC kicks in, if at that stage the RVC light is not working we will need that part back and we will update that one part.

The lights whilst fully locked are quite dim, thats normal, also a green and red light together is ok until open, then just a green light should be flashing.

Just getting the Ramisis apart is going to take quite a bit of effort, so concentrate on that part first.

Dead lights will in no way affect the physical opening of the puzzle, so as Puzz said, work on getting it open first and worry about the lights later

I got my Ramisis at the same time as Cornett and the lights were working, when I completed the first part the anti tamper lights and the green light could be seen quite clearly. Alas by the time it took to open it they had failed. At no point did it stop me from opening

im not totally certain you cant just change the battery after disassembly and get the codes...havent tried it yet ...mine flashed the green rvc code for like 36 hours and then died..i held it while it went....it was special

This actually made me laugh out loud - doesn't happen very often when reading forums but this conjured up such a funny scene! I can hear you shedding tears as every flash gets dimmer and dimmer.... rest in piece Steve's Ramisis...

I guess you actually meant "rest in peace", but I guess if he hasn't put it back together then "rest in (many) pieces" could be accurate

i was so nervous about not being able to open this puzzle that when i did it i was freaking out ...i thought for sure the code would stop before i translated it into some form of written code ya know?....that was actually really the hardest part..i am very disappointed that i havent got to hear more stories about that stretch of time for others....sounds easy right?....it wasnt....the code came steady and without pause once it started..it did repeat but i had to check and double check small sections of it over and over and over until i was sure what i had written down was what it was actually transmitting..
one miss recorded code part would would make the translated solution to the code wrong ....i actually gave them 3 codes to get into the 5% club and the game area...i wish you could have all had that rollercoaster ride....thanks again puzz..that was the best part....

but then i was all established in the 5% club..congrats from puzz and ade asking me and i quote "dont you sleep?"..
i then layed in bed and watched the Ramisis release its light from within until yes,it did begin to weaken...the rhythm never changed it just got dimmer and dimmer
i could buy it a new battery ..maybe someday!
