ipod

Apple has world domination of the mp3 world partly because of all the add-ons but the Microsoft Zone (?) will give a run for its money but the ipod will triumph (I predict)

Its Microsoft Zune, and they suck!

I ended up taking mine back and getting an iPod.

I only ask the question, as I may have an idea, but want to bash it over with someone first :D

You already know this but your forum audience is very small, (probably) very techy and all roughly in the same age bracket. So, for example, you can't infer that half the population have ipods. But saying that I know there are a hell of a lot out there even though there are cheaper better alternatives. It just kudos.

Not sure about the cheaper and better thing. I've used many MP3 players, including those that the company I work for produce, and am yet to find one with an interface as simple and easy to use as the iPod. Also, there are few out there which are quite as small for the size of storage you get.

Just my thoughts ...

Got an old Mello mp3 player which takes compact flash cards, you create a folder callad "folder", fill it with what you want to listen to and switch on. Dead easy.

Cards are getting cheaper too!!!
