Then again it's not that fun (or cheap) to try a bunch of completely over researched guesses either

It's still cheaper than guessing every random guess out there. And think how much you learned in the process?

i agree ,the whole checker charge is so people cant powersolve the password or use a password cracker program....i am a member of a very old online society dedicated to hacking any online site we deem unacceptable....i have myself personally hacked several "foriegn" child pornography sites...i never get arrested because if they press charges it will put a spot light on their operation....i am retired now ,but still have my old tools....
i said all this so my opinion will be accepted that complaint about the password checker are MORE THAN LIKELY mad hacker wannabees trying to make a quick buck off of puzz....thats why they are the way they are ,good intentions or not that is why they are that way..to prevent bruteforce solutions and password hacker proggy's
i just laugh when people complain its a useless form of money grubbing...no,in fact its a secuity measure..
happy hunting......

Outlaw
that name strikes fear into the hearts of child pornography website operators...and if your looking "PANG"...keep your sh1t straight or i will be back!

PANG is an online username for a pornography ring leader on Shareaza and Bearshare......i burned up his hardware

Question: How exact does the password have to be on the online password checker? For example say I type in "greg" (Greg) will that still work instead of "sirgreg" (Sir Greg)

In your example, that would not work. If the password is sirgreg, that's what you must enter.

Thank you for the quick response, also one more question; say the person is the 3rd of their name, would the password be "sirgregIII" or would it be "sirgreg3"

That's a more difficult question to answer. You'll just have to try both and see. out of curiosity is this for a real pyramid or virtual? If real, you could always just go to the location and give the password if you are convinced you are correct and the "system" just won't take it how you entered it.
