deciphering the clues

I gave up on trying to figure this puzzle out so I purchased the 5 clues which are decryption files. These clues are a puzzle within themselves. I know folks said look at patterns but I still don't get it. please help.

I'm not sure what the decryption clues look like but I thought they give you the solution to the encrypted clues?? The clues are just a substitution cypher. Each letter represents another letter. I will send you a pm with a little bit more helpful information that I don't want to post in the open forums.
