Tessarisis Extreme

I recently bought one of the Tessarisis Extremes (with the Tarka Extreme inside) from Andrew on Ebay. I have the clues decoded and I'am having tons of fun trying to crack it. I was just curious if anyone else on the forum has one and wants to talk about it, without giving too much away. I have yet to solve it but it seems quite intricate. I believe I know how part of it works but I'm still a long ways off from solving it. Also this is my first Tessarisis, I kind of jumped in head first as the price was too good to pass up. Hopefully I'm not in over my head.

Yeah, I was hoping to get some more people to finally post about it. I've been working with mine for about a week and I'm pretty stumped. I can screw-in/lock the top left wheel, it's opposite or both together and I can free the right top wheel but the bottom wheel nearest the slice I haven't been able to free at all. I don't know if this is at all similar to the start of a normal Tessarisis but any hints would be appreciated (no big spoilers please). The clues just don't seem to help all that much.

Wow. Orko You have opened everything. Devil Tarka! I hope to be as clever as you someday. My theory is that if I stare at my devil Tarka longer I may lose my mind and hopefully believe I opened it. but reality is overrated. Help?

Holy crap. I'm not sure if I can even open mine much less a Devil, although the Devil looks really nice. Anyway, I think my biggest problem is just not having enough time to sit down and work with it. How long did it take you to crack to Extreme and Devil?

How'd you make out opening the extreme? Got mine a few days ago and I'm loving it so far! Pretty much in the same spot you are at your last post. Managed to free up the wheel at the slice once, but haven't beven able to replicate it yet...

I've made a little progress but I haven'y worked on it much lately. I think I'll probably get back to it soon. I think I have some clue as to how the inner mechanism works which helps a bit.

Puzz (Andrew) posted a video on YouTube showing some of the internal mechanism. Hasn't helped me a whole lot since the part he shows is one of the easier pieces to figure out, but it did make me realize that I didn't understand one of the clues (he shows the very last step before unscrewing the top of the puzzle). Might be worth a look if you haven't seen it. Unfortunately it is for a standard puzzle.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. The video is interesting but not all that helpful with the Extreme.
