Hi Folks,

December 7th 2012 - latest updates

1. The Tessarisis - we have hit a British engineering hurdle !. We have a working puzzle, but we are struggling on a getting a sensible manufacturing price. Sonic is happy to pay 3 x higher manufacturing price than normal to fulfil it's commitment to all our loyal customers for the 46 pre-orders, but the UK engineers want 5 x higher price than normal - which actually places the engineering costs higher than the end retail price - Crazy !!! I have now placed backup plans to manufacture the parts in China but this will mean a delay until early 2013. Apologies - we can only ask that you hang in there with us. We are as disappointed and frustrated as probably many of you are about this news. If anyone requests a refund for the limited edition Tessarisis this will of course be carried out without delay, but as an apology for the delay, all those that don't cancel will be offered LIFE membership to the isis adventure.

The Tessarisis - We have successfully agreed on a new price with our overseas engineers and we have created a fully working prototype which has been shipped overseas to our engineers who are now working on a sample before main production commences. With some national holidays in place abroad there will be a little more delay before final production is complete.

1. The Tessarisis - order has been placed with production team for Tessarisis, but its a new product for all of us and so we are taking things slow in order to get things right, QC is very important. 50 days and counting to planned launch.

2. New updated isis mechanism and seriously tricky extreme range now available.

3. Coin searches - we are upgrading this coin search system over the next few months along with a new isis adventure site.

4. New Isis adventure website will see a number of changes. These changes are designed to improve the adventure experience. We look forward to feedback when all has been updated over the next 4-6 months.

5. Special price offer available to all those that own the 3 current isis puzzles in the series, see sonic games website for more details and terms and conditions. This is a limited time offer and may be withdrawn subject to stock levels.

Engineers have been working on other projects and we have been waiting for a slot. Rest assured the Tessarisis will be available soon.

July 1st 2013 (my apologies for not updating you all more often, but when you have read the below you will see that the Sonic Team have been busy behind the scenes, working on new and exciting puzzles and concepts in order to challenge your minds.

1. The Tessarisis is at last in production - I spoke to the engineers today and all is progressing well. I am trying to speed the engineers up a bit, but they seem to work at their own speed. But next month we should be along way forward and hopefully shipping the first Tess . Apologies for the delay, but its been a difficult and testing road.

2. As many of you will have heard we have also been working on a new complimentary puzzle to the isis series called the Tarka. The Tarka connects in one or two ways to a number of the isis series puzzles, all will be revealed in July.

3. The Sonic Team, including myself, will be touring USA in November. 8th November I will be in PA area. King Of Prussia, Marbles the Brain Store.

4. Sonic in conjunction with Marbles is working on something really special this year, come and visit the Marbles stores throughout November, and you will not believe your eyes ! come along, i will be happy to chat about all the isis puzzles and we will have Tarka's to give away for isis speed competitions.

5. New web development on the Isis adventure, The Grid(Tessarisis) and Tarka and the Disc game(inside isis) is all happening and will be live by November 2013

Ok, so lots happening and the isis adventure membership has now surpassed 18000 members and is already quickly approaching the 19000 members. If you haven't yet joined the isis membership, please join, as there will be so much new and exciting areas to challenge you all very soon.

September 1st 2013

1. Anyone that have ordered and paid for the Tessarisis and Tarka puzzles prior to 22nd August 2013 will start to receive their orders this coming week. We can build all orders and then ship in one go, but that would take a few weeks, or we can build and ship in batches of 10 units in date of order - I am sure the latter is preferred, but it will take a few weeks to get all back orders out to everyone. Apologies, but anyone wishing to order the Tessarisis and Tarka is out of luck as we are sold out this year. But good news is that early 2014 we will have more stock.

Where has the year 2013 gone... zip - gone !

Its been a crazy here at Sonic this year, what with the Tessarisis and Tarka, the isis adventure book, the USA tour, Nuremberg - ah that's 2014, phew ! But the good news is I have some more puzzles for you in 2014. One of those new puzzles is called the Nightingale. A locked glass box, with another box inside, but where is the key ? maybe Inside the box ? which is locked - hmmm. If you can retrieve the key and unlock the box, then you can retrieve the inner box, which is also locked, and the key for that box? well that's for you to solve.

The Devil isis - still proving to be the hardest isis puzzle yet - only 2 solved so far.

The USA tour was brilliant, it was a pleasure to meet so many of you at the Marbles stores and to talk about your puzzle interests and of course I was trying not to give away any hints or tips for solving the $100k diamond isis codes.

So what lies ahead for 2014, Nuremberg is early in the year, Sonic Games will be there, the new Nightingale box will be launched, its already designed, just needs tweaking and production to commence.

The iball4 - and light speed - I have to confess i am struggling to put the flipping thing down, I need to know what my ceiling is for Light speed - for now i hold the world record at 169 for 60 seconds - a mind blowing, light, eye, brain and touch coordination battle, totally addictive, cannot put the flipping thing down game, i am just waiting for someone to inform me that they have broken the 170 limit that so far has eluded and i can rest - or can i ?

Work will commence on early designs for Isis V - but this is a 2 year design project, so please be patient.

I will try harder in 2014 - to be back on the forum - All have a great Christmas and a Happy new Year, and i will see you all on the other side - 42

Ok, who is stealing 2014 from under my feet, March already !!! frightening.

ok, this year so far, has involved Russia and Germany toy shows, exhausting work, anyone who has ever experienced toy shows will know, its like shopping in Tesco's for a week. 1 hour is enough for me.

Devil isis and Ramisis now being sold and testing the best of you, particularly the Devil Ramisis. The book is selling well, but the 1st code still hasnt been solved yet, in fact not even the first part of solving the code has been solved yet as far as know that is.

Jazz is still stuck in the woods - you need to ask him about that one.

Nightingale puzzle - will start production in a few months

I have just commissioned 3 sets of gold and diamond isis to be made, one for a Russian billionaire and another to hopefully go in to Harrods in London for all to see. Cost for the set $100,000 - anyone want the last set ?

I will be placing the diamond isis cabinet into Hamleys soon, and the IA book should be available there soon too.

So what else lies ahead for 2014...

The iball4 - now being sold on Virgin flights, Quantas, Air Berlin and soon to be in most airports. 192 is still the high score and world record for light speed. $1000.00 is up for grabs December 2014 for the new world record holder, assuming someone can beat 192.

Hamley's - diamond cabinet to be installed this month with a replica diamond isis on show.

The existing cabinet in Hamleys is being re-stocked with new color range for isis. Sonic Games is also providing unique and must have when you see them backgammon sets via Hamleys store as from this month.

New Tessarisis and Tarka will be available from September this year. A new colour is being introduced to complete the devil range in Red and Black and it will be harder to solve than the extreme Tessarisis. Tarka will also be made in Red and Black. Only 10 of each available until September 2015

Nightingale puzzle is in the engineers hands, but they are being very slow. I will push them a bit for progress this week.

A New app is being written and will be available later this year involving coins and pictures with a 25k prize.

Harrods to be asked to showcase a 100k isis series in Gold and diamonds, only 3 sets available. The Tessarisis in 24ct gold and diamonds is going to look amazing !
