do I have to start all over?

Hi, got my Isis a couple of days ago. I have solved the first10 clues and found the 11.th.
I did what I think clue 11 indicates, with pretty much force and after that the plunger depressed halfways. I continued and followed the instructions but must have doe something wrong because it won't open. Do I have to do clue 11 again or from where do I continue?

You have to hear closely whats going on inside and its possible that you have to repeat some steps to progress.

Ok, but is clue 11 to be repeated too? Probably not, right? I mean, if it's already loose...
