I have earlier often aplayed with the cast metal puzzles, where you often take two objects apart. I got the isis ball in november, but I am not sure I understand the rules.
The goal is to open the ball. That is similar to what I know. I registered online and got some clues, which I deciphered (some of them at least, the rest I will manage).
But i am a bit confused about the whole thing. Can someone tell me if the puzzle is cultural (do I have to research stuff online to open it) or more combinatorial or mathematical (like the ones I know from cast) where you can shut yourself in a room with it for a long time and then solve it without using outside information.
i guess the whole clue thing got me a bit confused.
Also, what happens when you open it? I get the feeling that that I am supposed to travel somewhere to collect a prize or was this only with the first ones?
Also, is each puzzle unique or not? Would you be able to find the solution online? Or are they all the same principle but with some differences that make each one unique such that you can find a solution onine but you have to adapt a bit to your own ball.
I am really looking forward to having fun with the puzzle, but I have to understand it first
Thanks to anyone who might be able to answer my questions. Sorry for possible typing mistakes. I am writing on a a tablet.
