Have the clues as well, but to be honest, "last of the first" doesn't make much sense to me (unless it's referring to "unlock"). But even then, it seems like I'm missing *something* since the lid won't rotate. But thinking about that some more, since there's a Tarka in there, rotating it about the center axis shouldn't be the way to open the Tess since there wouldn't be an opening large enough to get it out. I'd expect it to be rotating with one of the wheels as an axis, assuming those are where the ***s are.

Perhaps things are not quite the way the seem.. Just remember orientation and gravity can be your friend

Now open, the clues helped but clue 2 was the one that made it easy, after de-coding it was open within 10 mins. The T42ka inside seems much harder to solve, I believe there are clues to this! can someone post a link.

I don't want to register it I have no interest in the adventure I only want to solve the puzzles!, the clues should be freely available whether you register or not. Someone kindly PM'd me the link to the Tess clues hope someone will do the same for the T42KA.

Ah I gotcha. I do agree, it'd be nice to have the clues included in the box like they were with the Isis...

Finally - FINALLY - opened my black Tessarisis. My brother had gotten the key out of my gold Tarka, so I left my gold Tess with him, and he solved it pretty quickly and helped me get the thing open. Now I have to figure out the rest of the Tarka...the key is easy, but the code - so far - is not.
