Got it, that was a beast of a puzzle box!
Took me 2 days and a lot of wear and tear on my fingertips and nails to get it open.
Now I even have to study it up close to find out how it actually worked.
Well done to the architect, but next time please make the lid transparent, that would be hard enough!-)

Ok guys!
Starting to worry. The lid doesn't move anymore and when I tilt the Tess a clicking noise is happening like something is sliding up and down one of the locking rods!
Have I broke it! Eeek!

Have you decoded the clues? you need to sit and think of every step you make it is patience plus more patience

Ok I have played around and noticed that i have locked opposite wheels... got them unlocked
But as i sat down for dinner, i have found it to be a bit magnetic...

I have a wheel locked. Only one of the four. Its pressed in though and just locked there. Is this wrong?

The Wheels shouldn't just lock in from being pushed down - give it a wiggle, it should pop back up.
If this doesn't work then maybe you've done more than just push it down, in that case some of the wheels can 'lock down' but you're very unlikely to do this by accident.
