The isis of Eden

We bought a house and are in the process of packing to move in the next few weeks so I didn't get much time to work with mine before packing it away. How do you know which number you have? I don't remember seeing any numbers other than the serial number on it. Also, I would love to know if everyone's are like mine where the engraved design does not line up well between the rings and main body of the puzzle.

Inside the Isis is andrews signature and the number Eden you have in the set of 10. The rings on my puzzle line up fine.

Considering that they man not all be this way I dug mine out of the packed boxes to take a pic:

As you can see, the top ring is not bad but the middle and bottom are quite a bit off (these are in detent positions).

Considering the price I paid for this I am quite disappointed. I was looking forward to showing this puzzle off to friends but this kind of makes it look cheap and poorly manufactured. I'm actually a bit embarrassed about it.

I would love to see pics of a few others to compare with.

Do you think I should see about returning it for repair if possible? With my move in a few weeks I really don't have time to deal with it much right now so it would have to wait until I get unpacked at the new house.

My middle band moves enough to line up correctly with the other lines.

I have not had time yet to work on mine, but I will try it this weekend and let you all know what number I have if I get it open.

By "Received" I mean I bought it. I haven't solved it but I have noticed that my plunger wil kind of LOCK down. Does anyone elses do this?

I also received Gregtorious' 1A and I solved that in about an Hour, though I think I got Lucky, when I Mapped the Maze there weren't any side tracks, but there were three magnets.
