Clue 5 giving trouble

I have decoded the clues and even checked them with the internet but I can't get clue 5 to activate clue 6. Does anyone know if the marble's edition is different?

The state of your top ring will not affect solving the puzzle - you'll see why when you do eventually solve it.
Don't know about the Marbles edition as I'm in the UK, but the 'moves' change from batch to batch and even puzzle to puzzle - the basic function is the same, but there is a feature that Sonic Games can and do alter regularly, to great effect.
