Ten clue RIPOFF!!

Postby casper116 » Sat May 19, 2012 5:40 pm

I paid over $200 for this puzzle. I was told at the Marbles store that upon registering, I would get ten clues. Nothing said about them being encrypted and that I would have to pay additional approx $70 for an encryption key for all 10 clues. What a rip off! I feel disgusted.

You don't need to buy the encryption keys! Deciphering the clues is all part of the fun (and to be honest, is actually the easy bit!)

The encrypted clues are fairly easy to decode - try searching the web for 'Frequency Analysis' which is the standard approach to solving simple substitution cyphers.

You only need to pay for the encryption keys if you can't be bothered to do the decoding the fun/hard way using frequency analysis.

If you can't decrypt them you should just use an online decryption tool. I've used it for other things, the isis was easy.

Ramisis: Opened in a week or so
Copernisis: Yet to purchase
