ramisis toothpick

hi, i started the adventure on 12.02.13. now i solved isis and copernisis, but ramisis makes me a bit nervous. i put a toothpick into the chamberhole to hold the key, so i have no disturbing sounds. it fits great and i can perfectly hear the bb. my question is, is the chamber able to come out with a toothpick in it?

The toothpick won't be a problem (assuming the design hasn't changed - mine is a very early Ramisis). The toothpick a good thing to do, as you will certainly need to listen carefully to the bb.

I have a new GII Ramisis and Kev is correct the toothpick will not prevent the chamber opening - just don't go stabbing yourself in the hand/eye with the toothpick when the chamber does open.

BTW Kev, like your new animated avitar - must get me one of those.

thank you for your answers and @pyromancer i cut the toothpick to avoid sticking it in my eye, but thank you for fear that i hurt myself . however, at the moment i stuck i can hear the bb in the top, in the middle and at the bottom, but nothing more

Hi, i have a new question. I have got my g2 from a friend, he sended the g2 to andrew cause the bb stucked in the oil.
And 4 weeks ago i had to send the g2 to andrew cause in some positions i wasn't able to spin any layer and it pukes some metal chips. Last week i have got it back but in my opinion nothing happened accepted the metal chips, so i don't know if its possible to open it. I mean to people tryed now over 2-3 years to open this f.......amous g2.??? Maybe someone of you is in germany this year who already opened a g2 and can try to open this one (i don't wanna know how it works) i just want to know if its posible. Thank you for your reply.

I can confirm that it is possible to open the Ramisis.

I have managed to open both the R1 and R2 versions and although the R2 is easier the Ramisis is a tricky puzzle indeed.

Keep going and try sitting in a quiet room, you will get there

Oh my god, i opened the g2 today!!!!!! and i know now that i damaged it the first time with the toothpick, so don`t try this!!! in the 5% club i can explain why or how the toothpick damaged the g2, but not in this forum.....sorry.

Can't see how you'd have damaged it with a toothpick - that is assuming you were inserting the it into the hole in the key chamber.

About the toothpick. I also used it to keep the key silent, but indeed you should be careful. It can jam the 'draw'.
