Question unanswered...

Postby chefryanhoward » Fri Nov 23, 2012 8:50 pm

Hi everyone!
So I have had a Ramisis now for a while, I got it sometime in 2010. I had posted a while back asking some questions about mine and had an unanswered question.
I got my chamber to pop out about a quarter inch, but it would come out all the way. Then, stupidly, I let someone look at it and they pushed the chamber back in.... Now I can't hear the BB anymore. I'm wondering if I was just reset? Or if I screwed it up ?
Let me know! Thanks.

I guess that means you have a G1 Ramisis.

If the puzzle has been twisted since the key chamber was closed, you'll need to do the puzzle in reverse to re-set it and then solve it all over again!

If you have a G2 then you can twist it back and the key chamber should open.

Good luck.

So another question since I cant post in the 5%, is once I begin the 2nd time, will I hear the ball bearing just like before? Or is it harder to go backwards because it remains silent the whole time??

Shouldn't be silent.

If it is silent try giving it a good shake, as there are a few places where the BB can stop and become silent if you are just using gentle movements.

You should be able to hear it rattling around as you navigate back to the start.

E-mailing Puzz is probably your best bet.

Andrew has been very helpful to me in the past, but that was when he wasn't trying to get his latest puzzle manufactured and shipped.
