Hello England here I am!

Postby Z3r0San1ty » Tue Oct 25, 2011 11:40 am

Been sitting in watford since Saturday spending the week with friends here and I must say it is quite fun being here and enjoying the area, today I'm suppose to be in London for "London dungeon" and the "eye" as well, I forget what it is called the big ferris wheel you guys have, any other spots I should be checking out while I'm here.

Try and get on pod number 7 (or 11) of the London Eye....see if there is a sticky label on the manufacturers name plate with numbers on it.

If it is there it was part of the multi-location clue for the special prize pyramid we did for the Tutankhamun exhibition.

I had to check it was still there a couple of times, you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to time your approach to the ride to get just the right pod without looking too suspicious (or a loony). I did manage it 2 times out of 3 though.

Enjoy!

The dungeon took us 3 hrs in que, so we're planning to do the eye on Saturday. I'm so shocked to see that being in que with a group and as long as 1 person stays in the line, it's acceptable for friends to leave and come back to their spot with the friends.

Hey Zero, try number 11 rather than 7. Reason being is that after about 4 attempts to get on no.7, I ended up asking the management if I could ensure on getting on 7. And they sorted it but of course wanted to know why so I did end up explaining the whole thing to them. They didn't seem totally happy with it but did get me in the right position in the queue for pod 7. But I have a feeling that they may have removed the number. But I didn't know about 11 so much more likely that it's still in that one.

This will explain more about what Ade's talking about - these were my workings up to the deadline. Found out later that there was an Obelisk there and the coin was under it! Doh! Anyway, Chad's son got the coin in the end which was really good.

Wow, nice deduction of the facts. Wish I could come up with something like that for one of the Dutch free searches.

Scott, I don't think I've seen your workings before but they are the perfect solution to each stage. Shame you didn't get there in time.

hmmmmmm....them were the days!
