Lost ball

Postby TheLugal » Sun Dec 26, 2010 4:51 am

So, a funny little story:

One day I stumbled upon the ISIS on the Internet, and I immediately got a mental erection.
The very next day I put it on the "things-I-want-for-Christmas-list". And believe it or not, I actually got it! *YAY!* :D

Now, I tinkered with it for a while, and somewhere between 24-36 hours and a very sore thumb, I solved it!

Here is the fun part):
The ISIS is not only a very fun, mind-twisting and beautiful puzzle. It is also an excellent catapult. Just when I had opened my amusing orb, I tipped it over to safely catch the little ball(bearing?). Just as I was about to get it out, I heard a VERY annoying *spoing* and the ball was lost. :cry:
I didn't know the heart of the puzzle would be so jumpy...

Are there any, well solutions, for this particular problem? It is a quite small ball, lost in a quite big room.
I am sure none of you will show up and help me look, that would be awkward. But I was hoping for an advice, or two, on what to do...

OH! By the way my name is Sander. I encrypt my e-mails and eat my vegetables. :mrgreen:

Hi there, congratulations on opening your Isis and welcome to the forum!

I suggest you do two things -

1. Send a picture of your open Isis together with your username on a piece of paper to Gatekeeper (or direct to me) to gain access to the 5% club so you know what to do ro reassemble it;

2. You can order replacement balls from the Sonic-games website - I am sure that will be quicker than searching the room!

Try sweeping a magnet along the floor and if it's tile/wood focus on the edges.
