Just got mine today and it sounds like most of you that got it open just got lucky playing with it. I have seen the clues but have no idea how to string these numbers together to make this so called "Equation."
Isis (USA LE) - Solved
Ramisis (Signature Ed) - Key removed
Kuku - Solved
NKryptor - Solved
Puzzle Box - Started
Copenisis LE - Waiting Inpatiently

any advancements in a "blind" puzzle are by discovery....this term "lucky"....We are all lucky that mold grew.....we are all lucky someone realized fruit ferments :P
"All of you Doctors have assembled so we can cure cancer"
then after one does...the other doctors say "He got lucky"..???
I put all my puzzle through a "clues be damned" trial by fire...i call it "The Chimp Method"
you hand a combination lock to enough people, its gonna open a couple times.
is this luck?.....
its not hard to look at the copernisis and think of the various ways it COULD be made to function.
you will eventually "get lucky" and figure it out.....thats puzzling.
at the end of the day Puzz uses a college level "theme" to describe vaguely ( ) a mechanism he has invented.
i whole heartly believe a certain amount of eventual luck is required to solve a ramisis.
all that being said....havent even got the clue outta mine.....
this could be the one puzz glued together to humble me
LOVE THE BOX..LOVE THE PUZZLE even if it never opens

Congratulations to Sheepish!
Did you use the Puzz method or the S&L method?

I must disagree with luck being involved in solving the Copernisis.
The Copernisis is not about a solution to be found by luck or by number crunching, it is about a solving method, which should still work if the Equation is changed.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Do we have any clues on getting the clue chamber open? That wouldn't give away too much right?

Open :D

I suppose it was 75% info from solving the clues and the other 25% the S&L way is the only way I can put it.

I opened the compartment fairly quick, closed it again couldn't get it open but then realized what triggered it.
I then with the help from the post from Puzz solved the equations and got all the info on the amount of clicks needed for each planet
Then using the different orbits on the Copernisis I tried to match the planets to the rings. Now I think that i worked out definitely 2 possibly 3 .

But this as far as I went with the clues I then used the S&L method but the clues do really help. I was actually very very close. But even now knowing the Final answer and having all the answers to the equations!!!! I still cant add it all together :? :? :?

But I think this is a awesome puzzle loads of fun, would like to have been able to take it apart but hey. :)

Love to all have fun. :D :D
