Steve to mission control

Postby steve » Wed Nov 17, 2010 10:34 pm

I'm stepping through the door (door?...well the secret compartment is open...it’s a bit like a door)

And I'm floating in a most peculiar way (floating?....more like spinning.....astroalgebra isn't my strongest point)

And the stars look very different today (my stars said today, I wound go on a hot date....I ain't going nowhere)

Sorry for the Bowie quote.......I blame Jazz.

But, Yes the Copernisis is here and it is a bit of a space oddity itself,
It is beautiful not only in construction but also the packaging....nice one Puzz. :D

DAMN YOU ATLANTIC OCEAN! Can't wait for mine to arrive. Is this a ball bearing puzzle again or something different?

Mine's at the Post Office - gonna pick it up early tomorrow

Got it! - really well done Andrew - lovely looking and totally unique!
Now.... how to open it? ISIS 1 took 2 days, RAMISI5 took 2 weeks so I'm guessing this might take somewhere around 2 months for me to figure this one out!!!
I can't hear any BB's but it may be that either 1. There aren't any! OR 2. They need releasing somehow.

Hi Folks,

apologies for the delay in getting the Copernisis to you, one day I will bore you all with the struggle I have had getting my design finished. Good news is that you are now getting them through the post, albeit some slow postal services seem to be still active these days !

Well done Steve,

incredible how quickly you have solved the new Copernisis, with 188 million combinations you were either very lucky :D or a genius !

Next problem then is which STAR MAP to go for ! :D solve one of these and you will definately be in the GENIUS category !!!

best regards

Puzz

when I first saw the Copernisis I thought it would be several days even weeks before I would see any progress, after playing with the puzzle for a few hours I figured out what was going on, I do however think that I may have missed a few of those 188 million combinations out....sorry
admin wrote:you were either very lucky :D
I have just finished writing a post on another thread explaining that I don’t think that luck was involved.

Don't you think my head is big enough at the moment?
I looked it up, on Wikipedia the first statement on the "genius" search does pretty much apply, on Dictionary.com the descriptions are applicable till the 3rd entry where it speaks of I.Q. Unfortunately I fail to make the grade by one point, so can I opt for a third option...smart a#se.

I have read the info/rules that are visible after the internal Copernisis code is entered, I will wait until I have some more time on my hands before attempting to go there.

Today I received my Copernisis!
Looks good, feels good, and fits well in the series.
It's nice how the key is sometimes visible, but not accessible (yet!).

Opening the 'secret' compartment was the easy part...
I believe my planets are correctly aligned, but aligned to what?
I hope to make more progress tonight, after the sun has gone down.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
