Hi,

I'm a new Isiser ( or what's it called ) and I was wondering, how do you know when you have 3 ball bearings cos I actually don't hear the difference between 2 or 3 ( at least that's what I think , I've no idea how to get the third ball bearing ) ?

Welcome to the forum

I also found it really hard to tell the difference between 2 or 3 ball bearings! You need to be in a very quiet room and listen very carefully. Have you found the 11th clue on the forum? If not, that may help. Best of luck with the ISIS

I found the 11th clue but I don't really know how I have to interpretate it, but I know nobody can say it here so I just have to keep trying, I guess.

I'm sure you'll get there, besides, the longer it takes for you to solve it, the more triumphant you'll feel when you do get in it

Anyway, I think I know how to interpretate the 11th clue, but I dunno if the Isis won't break when trying this.
I've tried a few times but not too hard so I don't yet have the 3rd BB.

Possible, but when I [Edit- applied clue 11] ,the lower ring was a bit up and I'm quite sure I could see a ball bearing but I dunno if it was the third
Anyway, I almost broke my thumb when using the 11th clue 'properly?'

Hi,

The design change thread is in the ISIS 5% club, so you cannot read this until you have opened your ISIS. But even with the design change, the method in opening the ISIS is still the same, so don't worry about it

I bought the puzzle about a week ago so I believe it is the newest version. After following all the clues I read clue 11, and did what we all know (without giving up too much) is the first step. After doing so, the two halves of the isis twisted about two inches and a 1 cm gap was created between the two halves at the middle ring. The plancetas (circle with lines in it) engraved on the black portion of the isis (not on the rings) are about two inches apart and will not realign or move any further. I'm afraid I did not release the third ball bearing as I only hear one rolling around inside. I want to know if my puzzle is broken or on the path to being solved? Please help me it's driving me crazy!!
