Getting an ISIS Key

is it worth it to send in for a real key?

Oh and also, how do you know which ISIS you have? I see that some of you (karen) have on your profile that you have opened Isis 1, Isis 1a, Isis B and sooo on. how can you tell the differences?

There are a few differences in "crafting" the puzzle. Most people will have just an Isis. The special ones you have to buy specifically, I think. As for the key, I think it is totally worth it because I love having something physical. If you plan on requesting a riddle and then solving it, then you'll need a key eventually. It isn't too expensive, so if you want to continue with these puzzles (you'll also need a key from Isis I to solve Isis V) I'd recommend getting one. Hope this helps. :)

Ailurophelia is correct, the ISIS 1a, 1b and 1c were all special limited editions. They were released a few years ago via the ISIS 5% club of this forum. They are all harder versions of the ISIS, I still haven't managed to open the 1c!

Requesting a key these days is not going to get you a key that can physically open a pyramid.
You will receive a metal key, but that would be a symbolic one, as it won't be able to open a pyramid lock.
This is simply because the keys that do fit the locks are no longer produced/supplied.

See this post for more information and pictures.

Yes the physical keys will be used and capable of opening Isis V.
