Now before you go and read all this, I'd like to point out that in the past I've pretty much always been fighting the SW corner. Hell, if I wasn't a fan then I don't think I'd have bought 6 ISIS and one of pretty much every other puzzle you've made, not to mention 500 club! I wouldn't call myself a troublemaker here (feel free to prove me wrong), but I feel that it's now come to the point where my patience has worn thin and I've come to speak my mind (yeh, some of it will be a rant, but frankly, I'm annoyed), open some eyes and point out some home truths.
Note: if you don't hear from me again here it's probably because big brother doesn't like the truth or the opinions of a disappointed user (though it would be rather sad if it came to that).

This is getting quite exciting to see if they will actually ship it at the time they say (for once) or may there be delays in the future?
Either way, I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.
Exciting? Really? I'd say it's actually getting pretty damn boring... and if it wasn't for the fact I've invested £500 of my hard earned cash into keeping the SW/SG ship afloat (let's be honest that's what the 500 club was all about) then I (and I suspect a whole bunch of others) wouldn't be here... in the 20 months since the club stated literally all we've got to show for it lifetime access to a forum that just has a bunch of disappointed people on it, "special" access to an area of that forum where pretty much everybody if scratching their heads wondering what's going on (after a quick check, I can't find an admin/PUZZ post in there for over 16 months now), and a Kuku.
In my opinion the chance to save the isis adventure has long gone though I'd love to be proved wrong... back in the day this forum was a great place to be, I made a whole bunch of friends, had some really interesting discussions and solved some really devious riddles together. I would say "why they ever took the forum out of general public access is beyond me", as I believe that marked the beginning of the downward spiral... but I think we all know why. Unfortunately, I have come to the conclusion that the only people here are the ones who have shelled out cash and can't really do much but wait, newcomers who have little idea of the mess this is all in, and the hardcore who are too blind to see what's happening. Maybe it's just that I'm irritated by the current state of affairs but I'm sorry, I really think that's the truth these days.
glewra wrote:So much for the guarantee...
Exactly! Honestly, I've learnt that "guarantee" is a word that just thrown in for fun on this forum. If anybody can find me proof of a guarantee that's been made and kept to here then I guarantee I'll apologise and take that comment back right here.

...I think Andrew will find out that dealing with Chinese manufacturing brings a whole lot of problems....and I don't think they are going to be restricted to late delivery only.
Hmm I think I'm going to ask for my money back now and wait and see if it,
1. Ever turns up.
2. Falls to bits when it does.
I can pretty much guarantee we're not being told the whole truth. I know some people here know this already but there is a history of bad relationships with engineering companies in the UK (yes, this is only what I've been told, I didn't get it from the horses mouth, but I have heard it separately from quite a few others).
IF it's being built abroad then I think you'll find it's because nobody here will build it, or they've put a massive quote on production and asked for the cash upfront.

Yeh, can you really see that happening though? Seriously? I even wonder whether there's actually any money available in order to do a refund?
jazz wrote:hay it comes when it comes. So you get it this wk or next wk you solve it and you have to wait 2 more yrs for the next one. Give us a break how many of you have completed the project Ramisis game or solved the 10k pyrmid game or even found one of the hidden puzzles
so just sit back and wait and enjoy the trip
I'm really sorry Jazz, generally I agree with you but I think you've lost sight of what's going on here. I know you've said you're in for the ride but seriously, do you not get the feeling that this ride ended a long while ago?

Currently anyone joining this club before January 31st 2009 will be guaranteed to receive the Isis III puzzle in March 2009. General release of Isis III is expected to be Sept/Oct 2009
Im glad someone's bought this back up! I'm currently looking for the text which stated about the 500 club being testers too, I'm sure it mentioned getting it x amount of months before general release.
Lodgecrest wrote:I cashed my ticket in and walk over to revomaze bus stop. It's funny that revomaze buses come one after another. I have received 5 puzzles which all came on time in the last year....
I'm not going to comment on the revo's here, I think it would be inappropriate of me.
Lodgecrest wrote:Jazz, I hate bashing puzz but I will not be treated Iike an idiot. If he really thinks he can just take my money for months on end then he is stupid. I can not believe that so many people just sit there day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year. puzz is not a charity. He takes your money and spends it! And gives you promises in return. It's a shame but this is puzz business model, he tells us that he has a new puzzle ready for pre order takes our money then uses it as capital for his company and probably his wages. So as long as you know that you are give puzz an interest free loan you should not moan.
I agree about the Puzz bashing and being treated like an idiot, though I don't feel like an idiot. As I said above, the 500 club was an interest free "loan", I knew that at the time, and I knew that was a risk (as did many others), but I also knew that if it was made stupendously obvious that Andrew was taking us for a ride then I'd end up speaking out about it (this post).
Lodgecrest wrote:Puzz has told me on Wednesday this week "that he has everything ready, the design, the testing has been completed, boxes, instruction, website, but just does not have the puzzle yet"
So I guarantee that you get your puzzle just that puzz doesn't know when!
Hmm, we'll see!
I know some may read this and think that I've just come back for a good rant, and to some extent, yeah I have. But I believe that I'm entitled to, I've paid my money and I believe we're now been treated like complete crap. We've heard absolutely nothing other than broken promises for a good long while now and I've now got to the point where I think Andrew should be give a good prod and asked what the hell he thinks he is doing treating us like this. There's only so many times that I will allow someone to assume my "understanding and patience regarding the launch of this product"... because I'm not any more.
Here's an interesting little treasure hunt for you... can you find any mention of the 500 club by anyone from SW/SG since SG was announced? Now this might just be hear-say but I've spoken to 3 people all at different times and they've all pointed this out to me. So Puzz, can we please have some guarantee that you and SG will honour the original 500 club deal? (I notice that the users
PUZZ nor
admin have been online in 6 months now)
And even if the Copernisis is released... I'd be interested to see a) the quality (being that we've heard nothing of testing) and b) what comes of the allegations of the fundamental design being copied.
