any updates?

The area for discussion about the Copernisis, the 3rd puzzle in the Isis series.

I do hope they still ship out the Limited Editions first. I paid extra for one because we were told they would be shipped out a month before the Standard Editions. That month lead time on having a crack at a new puzzle was important enough to me to justify the extra cost. If they renege on this I may attempt to cancel the order.
Don't mess around with really dense objects like things made of neutronium and black holes. It will only end in disaster.

I agree with you and I bought a standard edition, but if I bought a LE I would want it earlier too. So I say LE's first.

Quite honestly, I hope they ship the 500 club ones first as frankly, we've paid massive money up front to have the privilege of testing and getting the puzzles long before anyone else but in reality have heard/received absolutely no more that what's in this thread... have they even been tested? If they have then great, but why weren't the 500 club involved in this??... infact the only thing we've had to date is a "free" kuku... hmm, seemed to have drifted offtopic here... oops!

Anyway, I can't wait to get my copernisis... hope it actually happens... I know there's more than a few sceptics out there... I guess only time will tell

...but who's counting? I am too though, so...
This is getting quite exciting to see if they will actually ship it at the time they say (for once) or may there be delays in the future?
Either way, I'm sure it will be well worth the wait.

So much for the guarantee...

"The Copernisis puzzle is now 80% complete, we have had a further anodising delay this week and so we will commence shipping early November 2010. We appreciate your understanding and patience regarding the launch of this product but hang in there it will be worth it."

Copernisis launch imminent!
14th April 2010
Copernisis now available for pre-orders, teasing pictures on web.

2nd June 2010
Copernisis now available for pre-orders, pictures launched today.

2nd July 2010
Copernisis - slightly behind schedule, most teething problems sorted, should be in full production any day. Launch is still planned for this month.

20 July 2010 We are sorry that there has been a slight delay in shipping the Copernisis, but we do want to get it right before launch. After completing the design & prototype testing, virtually everything is ready - engaving, packaging, website & online game, leaflets/booklets and boxes. The delay has been in the engineering production, but this is now in progress, and anodising, assembly and shipping are now planned for the end of July or early August. Thank you for your patience.

12th August 2010
Copernisis - Apologies for delay on launch, pushing like crazee to get this out this month now. It will be worth the wait though.

26th August 2010
Copernisis - Huge Apologies for delay on launch, although I have pushed like crazee to get this out this month, It's now going to be September. I am as frustrated as probably most of you are but I am restrained by the speed of engineering.

20th September 2010
Copernisis - If i could stop the engineers making missiles we would all have a copernisis by now. However we are getting there - slowwwly.

Apologies for the continued delay on the launch of this new product, but the good news is that we guarantee shipping will now commence before the end of October. We appreciate your understanding and patience regarding the delay.

I don't think we are being told the whole truth here. :( ...I think Andrew will find out that dealing with Chinese manufacturing brings a whole lot of problems....and I don't think they are going to be restricted to late delivery only.

Hmm I think I'm going to ask for my money back now and wait and see if it,
1. Ever turns up.
2. Falls to bits when it does.

I think we deserve a little something for our patience. Extra discount and a little money returned? Something? All sorries aside this is really disappointing.

I write this with out thinking (if that makes any sense) This way I write exactly what I should write not what I think is appropriate to write.

I have been doing this whole thing for such a long time now and I have spent a long time working on the whole adventure for the last few years, but I think now the adventure is probably at its most delicate!!!!!! Although I only signed up to the forum sometime last year I think, I used to browse on it before then. I have seen people come and go and some that have been loyal through out the whole thing. But this brings me to my point, I am now starting to see doubts in the most loyal of adventurers, this does include myself!!!! I was trying to remember when i actually ordered my Copernisis and its does actually seem like such a long time ago that I cant even remember!!!! I am trying so very hard to be patient with this puzzle because I really do think that it will be a wonderful puzzle that will give me hours upon hours of entertainment!!!!!!! BUT where is the puzzle...... I can understand there are delays..... no problem, but after reading what Lodgecrest wrote up above....... well it just doesn't seem right.

We are now at the stage where they are saying that that the parts are now all ready and that all they are waiting for is the anodizing !!! Well I am going to hold in there a little bit longer because if this is the case surely...... they must have got the design working right and its going to be an excellent product. On the other hand when I do receive my puzzle, as I said above everything is very delicately poised!!!!!!!!!!!! This MUST be a good product.

So another month or so I wait for the postman to deliver my puzzle.

"The Copernisis puzzle is now 80% complete.
As any decent engineer knows, 80% of the work gets done in 20% of the time & effort...

We appreciate your understanding and patience regarding the launch of this product"
I equally appreciate the reliable planning and guarantees regarding the launch of this product.

(note: the delay statement this time comes from the
sonicgames news page.
The forum mainpage still states shipping end October.   )

What kind of trip are you enjoying then?

I payed my ticket for the Isis Adventure trip about 2 years ago and am still waiting for the train to depart, no train personel is here to talk to, no train is in sight, the only sign of life on this station is the anouncement signpost being updated with another "Sorry, but we have another delay..." every month.
This railway track is getting so rusty it may need to be re-anodised!

Sorry for not sounding too happy, but I am getting very, very hungry...
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.
