Good luck finding it, would have gone Myself last weekend but something more important came up.
So it seems that it was the obvious place after all.

Hi All
hope the Photos come out alright

Like most of you a throught that this one was to easy and, the clue was a red herring. but after searching the web sites on Castle Howard and Ramberling I found evidance that the pillars were in Gods county
This first photo shows the sign on the A64 for Whitwell-on-the-Hill

The Second and third are of Whitwell Lane and the Pillars(the red truck is mine)

I went to the left one and started searching all over the pillar, and the ground moving stones grass etc. after a short time, I begin having doubts in my head was this going to be another BG (Bradgate Park). Then the lovey Wife suggested that I back the truck up and search on top. Just before I did this, I got a stick and started poking in the cracks at the top
Hey Presto the coin fall to the ground.

Well now the good and bad news - Most of my weekends have been made enjoyable going out on my old motorbike and searching for the coins etc. This is the first time "her indoors" has come with me - now she wants to do more. This means for me it will be looking for coins etc then shopping and more shopping
Yes we did enjoy Fish n Chips - went to Bridlington for them :D :D :D
All best of luck to you all

There is actually an old photo on the web:

but it seems like they've taken a bit of battering from farm vehicle since then.

Congratulations again.

I've just noticed that Google Street View is now live for the entire UK. You can actually 'drive' right up to the pillars at the junction of Whitwell Rd and Tout Hill. That would have saved a lot of Googling on this one.
At least it will be a good tool for future searches.

Don't just asume that he is going to post the clue to it's location in the same old place!!

He said on the "Website" you may have to find the clue! in the pass he has hid one throughout the forum.

Who remembers that one?
