New 'Puzzle box' on SW Frontpage

Postby pootle » Wed Feb 03, 2010 9:11 pm

I have just noticed a new product on the SW website.
It is described as a 'Puzzle Box'.
Does anyone know anything about it?
Cheers

That looks like fun... Puzzle box link

Puzz mentions it in his new anouncement post on the board index. It sounds like it's a replacement to the cardboard box that the Ramisis/ISIS are packaged in. So I guess you will need to buy a Ramisis or ISIS to take part. Cool idea :)

I have read Puzz's piece that seems to suggest that the new 'puzzle box' will be the packaging for Isis/Ramisis. yet if You look in the 'spare parts' section of the website it seems to say that You can get one by purchasing a wooden Isis/Ramisis box for £19.99!
Any idea if this is the case, and also is the 'wooden' box much better than the 'plastic wood' box that comes as standard?

Oh dear, we know how tough the kuku picture puzzles are...
Now he printed four of them on a box and calls it one puzzle.

By the way, I wonder if the "new ramisis package" is a wooden box that can properly hold an original (i.e. no rounded top) ramisis, without creating a hole in the lid... That would be a good reason to buy one!
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

These do look interesting! SO are these a complete replacement for the black boxes the Ramisis and ISIS came with?? Wish they showed a picture of one open holding an ISIS. I actually like the original black boxes, but would upgrade if these look better. Def need a picture with one of the puzzles inside!!

i'm pretty sure, like other have said, it's just the cardboard box the the real wooden box is put inside not a new wooden box with the graphics on it.

I believe that the boxes with the codes on are the outer cardboard ones, but they come with a NEW wooden box as well. I don't know how different the new wooden box is to the old one, but I am told they look good!

love those wood finish boxes....
when i heard the words "puzzle boxes" i got excited....should be worded "a box with a puzzle on it"...that is NOT a puzzle box!
i was also excited about the kuku box....3/10 of a second is how long that took me to figure out ..literally.
then the kuku bit me upon reassembly....
i have high hopes for the future tho.....isis 3...finally! :D

I am quite looking forward to giving this ago it looks like a lot of fun :D :D

If you look on the sw website the have pictures of the new wooden boxes. :) They look really nice.

When I order my ISIS III I will order an extra 2 boxes for ISIS I and II. They are and foam material inside so therefore people like my self with and original Ramisis (non rounded top) can use these and wont damage the box :) 8)

Nice to see some new things around and nice to think we might actually get a glimse of ISIS III aswell. 8)

I think I've cracked one of them and 99% think I have the second :D I best be clear on what I'm saying "There are four pictures they are all the same on both boxes." I won't say which puzzle I started on but I have written to Andrew to ask if I'm correct as I think you have to enter all four in one go but if you are not right, then I think he should tell you so that you can work your way through in an order. The rules dont seem that clear to me(mind you nothing is around here)

I think they should have a web page were you can enter each 10 didgit code, if it lights up you have cracked it, if not you need to do it again. At least that way you can move on to the next or not.
