Got mine now
First impressions are that it's a fantastic little puzzle. From the pictures you can't really see how big/small it is... its about half the diameter of an isis.
The colours are very nice too, I guess they come in different colours too, maybe to differentiate between the hard and easier ones... although from looking at it Im not sure how they could be made more or less difficult. My Kuku is blue, silver and a gold/orange color.
Out of the box its one of those puzzles you look at and think "what the heck, thats easy, surely the solution is just....", but then you realise you have it all wrong. I've been playing with mine on and off for about an hour now and its still in the same state as it was when it came out of the box... I guess it must be broken! (joke! )
Then theres the box... firstly, is not a re-hashed isis box this time, phew! The outer box is a stiff cardboard with viewing holes in the sides and a flap at the front, other than that it's fairly basic (don't read "basic" as cheap or rubbish because its not). Then there's the inner box that holds the Kuku itself; the inner box has clearly had some thought put into it. I believe it's been described previously as a puzzle in itself, which it is, not a very hard one, but again quite clever.
So, so far the little Kuku certainly gets a thumbs up from me Anyway... back to trying to get it apart...
Chris
ps. If I get some time later then I'll post some pictures to show the size difference against an Isis.
