My Plunger Wont Press Down properly

Hi, I have worked out the clues and got a bit through it I think, its just 2 problems.
1. I have never heard a change in sound because before I read the clues I wasn't listening to sound.
2. The ball inside is just rolling and rattling around freely as if in a curved open space, my plunger has only ever been able to be pressed down about 1cm since I opened it no matter what I do.
Can somebody please tell me asap if my ISIS is broken or if I am just stupid and can't work it out.

don't worry about it, when you open your Isis you will see why it changes sound

Your Isis sounds to be in working order

As Steve has said, your ISIS sounds fine.
Don't give up, keep trying and I'm sure it will open
