What has happened to this place?!

About two years ago I brought the isis 1. Opened and blah blah............... had fun taking part, reading posts of how people are getting on....... seemed like a nice big happy family.

Then I go and by the next puzzle, ramisis.
So after a delay I get my mits on it.......... and it doesn't do what it says it's meant to do. So, I take it back to Hamleys for a refund as I wasn't happy paying £150 for a puzzle that clearly failed to do what it said.

I thought, ok, I'll just let them work all this out and buy it again at a later point.

And thats why I'm here today, to see how things have 'moved forward'.

But wow!!!! From reading the posts I just can't believe how far down the gutter this 'adventure' had gone!
People talking of leagal action?!?! More broken promises!!! No-one having a clue as to what is going on!!! I find it amazing! But why you would pay £500 to a company that was dying its death even before............. I just don't get it!

I think isis 3 will be out at some point. But as for numbers 4 and 5?! Not a chance!

Gosh! I'm still kindda in shock. I can't remember the last time I was on here but it was never this bad.
So, I'll not be getting the ramisis again after all. Reading all that stuff on the forum is enough to put anyone off.

It is sad, isn't it? However, I have to say that the Ramisis is a great puzzle, regardless of all the shenanigans going on. No matter what people think of the "adventure", good or bad, these puzzles still rock! I'll buy all the ones come out (and I think all 5 will be there eventually, even if it takes 10 more years), and in the end I will be a very happy customer with some awesome puzzles in my censored. I have to say though, that deciding not to buy a puzzle based on a forum's negativity toward each other and a lack of community, rather than basing that decision on the puzzle itself, is strange to me. the only thing that has happened here is all of us babies cried so loud now an outsider has hear it and been put off by it....
Sw rushed the Ramisis trying to please us babies and look what happened ..i joined the 500 club to insure i got one of the last 2 puzzles ,as they are slated to be limited production only.....you have your money and its all good,please leave us to continue enjoying the adventure......your right ...it has went down the gutter because WE ALL TOOK IT THERE....i am not 100% pleased with the customer service but the wait is one of those catch 22 things ..the longer the better actually....if we deleted all the whiny baby posts ..maybe there could be some new customers...just an idea.....and yes i know ,80% would be mine

Strange that I got censored... It wasn't even a "bad" word! The word I used could be synonymous with collection, store, or repertoire, and might be defined as "a collection of weapons". Of course, these puzzles are not weapons, I only meant that they are 2 of many in my collection of puzzles. I can only imagine that it got censored because the first 4 letters in the word could be considered slang for a 3-letter word meaning donkey... Shambles...

It seems like they have activated some sort of automatic censorship feature.

Just tried typing all the dirty words I could think of into a message and it automatically
replaced them with the word censored. Trouble is it does it even if the first part of
the word is in the censorship list. So not only can you not type the name of that north
London club, you can't type the name of their manager either.

There is a way around it though :
