I disagree, he purchased a puzzle for which he received fully in order, and has since opened it, so I don't think a full refund is justified (his statutory rights have been not affected by the puzzle itself). However..the £20 is the only thing that has changed, and not been advertised at the point of sale, therefore he has not potentially had the opportunity to accept (or not) the addditional susbsciption fee, therefore he cwould be entitled to gain access into the adventure FOC for a certain perod of time.

I can see your point Dooners and I'm not sure how SW will see this?
However, the ISIS was purchased with the knowledge that opening it would allow you free entry into the ISIS adventure, but this is no longer the case. Because the written T&C have not yet been changed to cover this, I personnally believe that he is entitled to a full refund. But as soon as the T&C are changed, anyone buying an ISIS from that date, as you said, shouldn't be granted a full refund.

the isis puzzle is very much like a item purchased at the adult store..once opened..no refund...especially once solved...you have information that is worth more than 100 pounds after that...you know the puzzles secret ,and get your money back?...over fine print?.....in my opinion if you break the seal and open the box ,you own it...if you open the puzzle you for sure own it.....
if we stick to the t&c like Lady K suggests(love ya)...then they will have to stick to every part...like one winner per household.....or this will create new rules....hopefully today they answer this :|

Folks,

I like to respond to your comments as much as possible and provide factual feedback.

The Isis series of products are very high quality products, hand built and cost over £100.00 to buy, but to produce it does not cost just 10% or 15% or even 30% of that cost. Its much, much higher than that !!!!

Its sort of ironic really that some of the people who love what Sonicwarp has done, are the very people who appear to want us to stop trying to do more.

At the end of the day, like many of you, im a guy who loves puzzles, its that very fact that has encouraged me to design and produce from scratch some really good engineered puzzles for you all to enjoy.

Regarding the membership - this is a very important transition in the Sonicwarp development, without it we are standing still, but with it we can provide more intriguing puzzles, better online games, more free searches, more treasure hunts, bigger better awards + much more. The cost is a cup of starbucks a month, and i dont see anyone providing big cash awards for drinking coffee. :D

Please feel free to email me directly if you have real doubts about what Im trying to achieve for everyone, but the proof as always is in the pudding.

best regards

ahhhh
when my family starts to talk about something less than desirable one member will cry out our families "safeword" if you will...its a word agreed on in private in the event that a subject comes up in public.....mostly used by my wife ..on me  ...
example:...hunny..i think its time to let our daughter date...she is going out this weekend....then i start to respond: at 16 boys only want one thing...like horny little dogs!!...at which point my wife yells "PEACHES"....from the other room....

or when my wife starts telling me how stupid this adventure is...that i am in a cult...i yell "PEACHES"....
its a way to voice anger without actually venting verbally..or to avoid embarassement

and its funny!!......its just a safeword....and i asked my friends to use it in case i start to loose my cool :D :D :D

Martin at SW should be able to fix it for you (martin@sonicwarp.com). I think SW are on holiday until January, but if you email him, I'm sure he'll try to fix it asap.

Karen :)

Thanks Karen. I've e-mailed im and made reference to this thread.

I must say that I thought the puzzle would last a little longer and be a little more taxing. I won't describe why, in respoect to the principles of not giving anything away, but I will say that £100 is lot of money for a day's worth of problem solving and my wife, who bought it for me, is a tad dissapointed.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and pursue it a little further, but I'm still unconvinced as yet.

how did you solve it so quickle wwhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh  mine is still locked

Let's be honest here, some people who open there Isis have a lot of help by reading topic's within the forum. It is a fantastic puzzle, isn't it strange as we move on in the adventure, only the best will survive, yes some open them straight away some don't, just enjoy the adventure and be HAPPY :D :D :D
