I don't remember my old serial number but I am pretty sure that this is a different one. They also tell you that you need to reconnect all of your controllers. The reason that you have to re-download everything even though it's still on the hard drive is to transfer the licenses. The downloads were quick, it didn't actually have to download most of the files, but it took a lot of time just due to the number of things I had downloaded with my old one (I didn't bother re-downloading any demos or videos, but I did everything else).cornettracing80 wrote:do you remember your serial numbers?...is it the same xbox?

hey stet can you give me a refresher course on those controller reconnects?...is it that small button on top?
thanks
Steve
That's pretty much it. Turn on the system and the controller, hold the small button next to the DVD tray on the system until the lights blink, then hold the small button at the top of the controller until the player 1 light turns on. They did include instructions for this and for the re-download thing. I still have to reconnect all of my Guitar Hero controllers.Z3r0San1ty wrote:
