There are 29 unique hex numbers in the main block:
30,31,32,34,37,38,39,61,62,63,64,66,67,68,69,6a,6b,6d,6e,6f,70,71,72,73,75,76,77,78,79

Was hoping to find 26 but not to be. Ranges 30-39, 61-6f, and 70-79.

Yet another 2 days and no progress on cracking this code. My guess at this point is that it's something so simple it's right in front of our faces and we're making it WAYYYY too difficult for our own good. I haven't given up yet.

Hope everyone had a great turkey day. I'll post any progress through the remainder of the weekend.

Hey, new here, i've read through all the posts, and it seems no one has figured it out yet?

I'm still stumped on it, but I don't think anyone mentioned these couple of points, maybe they will spark someone into realizing how to figure it out.

Every letter is preceeded by a 6.
When the code at the bottom (2, 1, 6, 3, 4, 5, 9, 0) is broken up into pairs of numbers it reads 21, 63, 45, 90 where 63 is 3 times 21 and 90 is twice 45. Just an observation, don't know if it actually means anything.
When the whole thing is broken into pairs the only numbers that start any pair are 3, 6, and 7.
The only 5 in the entire number sequence is the very last number.

I'm probably missing a few points I saw, but I'll post anything else I find out, assuming this really hasn't been found yet.

Simple Question

Postby OCCAMSRAZOR » Mon Dec 08, 2008 7:51 pm

Hello Everyone,

This is my 1st post and believe me when I say I am very hexcited about the Isis Adventure. I received my Isis today, it looks great and I am looking forward to figuring out how it opens. I have studied this puzzle with great frequency. Analysis shows that’s it’s not going to be easy! Only one problem; how can I find a replacement coded clues booklet? Either I didn't get one or it's very well hidden. I've searched hard! I really need a substitute for the one that is missing. I hope there are a number of spares. If I can't open this puzzle, then it's back to being a Crossword Solver for me!

Thanks to One & All

Hi William,

Welcome to the Isis!!

The instruction booklet is no longer shipped with the original Isis. However, if you register your Isis at www.isisadventure.co.uk (assuming it's not an eagle Isis), you can then download a pdf copy of the instructions.

Good luck....

I'm still no further now with decrypting this message as I was a week ago... I've spoken with several friends and even some colleague that have some pretty wild decryption experience in the IT field... but still nothing.

what happened to the free search page? I cant find it anymore. By the way, has anyone come across a better way of deciphering the numbers in the clue? At the moment, I have been substituting them in in the order that they appear at the bottom of the clue, that is, 21634590. Has anybody come up with anything better?

Hi cypher,

Once you login to the main website, the free search page is now in the "Extra" section from the menu on the left hand side. You will need to subscribe to the ISIS adventure in order to enter the "Extra" section. You can subscribe by clicking on the "your subscription" link also on the left menu.

Oh, I see. Now we have to pay for the "free search."

When you start charging for something that used to be free, you will lose a lot of people.
