An Update on our situation...
We have literally JUST got off the phone from Sonic Warp, This is our third phonecall to them since we placed our preorder all those months ago.
We were told on Tuesday 28th October that they were expecting stock in and that our Ramisi5 would be posted on Thursday or Friday of that week..... Nothing
After another phonecall on Monday 3rd November we were told again that they were expecting another batch of Ramisi5 in and that all the boxes have been labelled and are ready to post out when they arrive. This made it 'sound like' our Ramisi5 was going to be amoung them... now as many people are hapilly receiving theirs we have got nothing....
Queue another phonecall 10 minutes ago... Yes we are on the list and we're down for the harder Ramisi5..... They are not expecting any more stock in until next Thursday at the earliest. Im guessing by now many will know what our response to that has been, we have asked for a full refund, Caroline said that the only person who can authorise refunds is Puzz and he is not going to be in until Monday (obviously with the new launch!!)
We asked WHY???? the Ramisi5 have not been shipped yet and was told that it is a problem with the suppliers... So back in October when the launch had taken place our Ramisi5 were NOT already built and where NOT ready to be shipped out to us, the electronics problem was sorted a while ago and we still dont have out Ramisi5.
We think that we have been more than patient with Sonic Warp.... We have still been reading the forums.... keeping an eye on things.... not sending loads of emails or making lots of phone calls demanding where our Ramisi5 was. It has now taken its toll.... it seems that the Ramisi5 are being posted in the order that the orders where placed (obviouly a fair way to do it) but how is this fair when we did not have an exact launce date / time..... We were awake on the first day of pre order at 00:01 but as you will all well remember, the Ramisis did not go on sale until a long while after this!!!
we had been toying with the idea of buying from Firebox.com... but we're not sure anymore that we want to continue the adventure... what with new rules for Pyramids (not explained before we bought - we were under the impression it would be the same adventure as ISIS I and the same physical pyramids to search for)... Online games to play and obviously broken promise after broken promise.
I'm afraid to say that because of their incompitence, Sonic Warp have now lost 2 of their adventurers!!!
We sincerly hope that the rest of you enjoy the remainder of your adventures, and hope you are not faced with these same problems when ISIS III gets released (If it ever does.)
