I was told that the ISIS 1c was designed to be impossible to open, but I know of at least 1 person that has!

Ramisis Update 10th October 2008

Postby PUZZ » Fri Oct 10, 2008 12:53 pm

Hi Folks,

thank god its friday - what a week !

Ok Ramisis update

The main problem we have had with the Ramisis is the electronics, everything else works fine, but the electronics play a major part in the puzzle and we have had to update all the electronic boards we had in stock because the lights failed to kick in. The internal clock Im told is working though and the puzzle itself is mechanically working, albeit the key chamber on some was not locked properly at assembly. Additional training regarding this assembly process has been carried out and there will be no further issues regarding the key chamber

As far as Im aware no one has yet solved the Ramisis and therefore the green light within at this stage has not been required. The red light indicator is only an indicator and does not affect the overall functionality of the puzzle. The few Ramisis out there at the moment will need to be sent back to us to have the electronics updated, and we have contacted some of those concerned already and we will be in touch with others in due course.

I appreciate you all hanging in there and being so patient, and let me assure you we are working flat out to get all Ramisis out next week, we have re-ordered the updated electronic boards which have now arrived and we will be building the Ramisis puzzles we have in stock with new electronics early next week, ready for shipping Thursday/ Friday. This still puts us under a lot of pressure to get this right next week, and I will update you all again with progress next week.

best regards

Andrew

Thanks Puzz for the update. It's reassuring to know that the puzzle is OK mechanically.

It does just make me wonder about the significance of the second clue though??

I think it's a clue to what we make of the green light.

@Puzz
For those of us who are keeping on to the puzzle until it's solved, how will the 'green light' code work. Can we request one by email, or will we have to send it back and then reopen it again. I don't want to send mine back yet as I think I'm very close to opening it, and guess that I will have to start from scratch once it's updated.

I assume that this is just for those that you currently have in stock, and need to be update?

Do you have any idea how long those of us further down the list (Mine was a late order - No. 2507 I think!) will have to wait to take delivery?

Thanks!

Ramisis orders

Postby PUZZ » Fri Oct 10, 2008 3:35 pm

I am aiming by the end of next week to have covered 60% of all direct orders and started to provide stock for the retail sales, by the following week all pre-orders worldwide should have been sent and we will be covering remaining retail orders from that point on, with any additional direct sales.
