i paid by pay-pal...money transfer.....i dont think i can opt for refund...i am in for the long haul on this one....the isis2 story is starting out a real nail biter

I just realized that if I ask for a refund I'll still lose money. The US dollar was weaker against the pound when I paid so now if I get a refund I won't get back as much in US funds.

Oh in do intend to stay in it. Don't forget that I actually ordered a 2nd one last week so that I'll have both a Ramisis and a Ramisi5. I didn't use Paypay for the second one and used my credit card directly to avoid the situation that happened with the first one back in July.

But if we go another month or two, who knows what my stance on this will be...

I've just had an e-mail from SW regarding my order, copied below FYI, it gives some indication as to the delay we can expect;

You are correct about the issues with the Ramisis, and this has unfortunately delayed the shipping of all pre-orders by at least two weeks.We apologise for this day, and any inconvenience caused by this. However, we would ask that you bear with us, and your order will be shipped as soon as we are happy that the Ramisis meets our high standards.We are working around the clock to rectify this situation as quickly as we possibly can, and greatly appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter.


I suspect that this is in addition to the 28-day stated shipping time, but have asked for clarification. For what it's worth, I was a late adopter, so expect to wait considerably longer than most of you guys!

looks like end of november/beginning december for first ones and i cant see sw meeting the 2500 pre-orders before christmas...hope im wrong

Well I really hope that none of you go. But on the other hand, the more of you that go, the less competition I'll have for the final prize at the end of the adventure, not to mention all the pyramids and gold coins along the way! I'm here for the adventure, not for the puzzle itself! The Ramisis is only a very small portion of something of a much great magnitude! But if you all want to leave and let me claim all the prizes, go on ahead... No really, you should stay, it's more fun when you're racing for it!

Aren't we all glad we paid by credit card!

I wanted to pay with my credit card but the system didn't give me the chance to. I paid through Paypal, and they way that Sonicwarp has their online shop configured you are never given the option to change how Paypal is going to pull funds for you so it defaulted to direct transfer from my bank account. I paid cash back in July!

Even when paying with credit card, Sonicwarp (against all rules) drawed the money as soon as possible ... it would have been fair, if they had waited until shipping

lots of great stuff now about the ramisis!!..everything BUT the one thing i want to know...still no nailed down shipping date...emailed SW,they still have no clue on what day they will be shipping my puzzle...how long can this go on?....

until today apparently i got a very good email from caroline..it shouldnt be long now
i am not implying my puzzle was shipped ....first come first serve...i waited,remember?..sooo.....it will be worth the wait

I finally got around to ordering mine. I don't expect it for a while...seeing as I'm in the US, but i hope to be pleasantly surprised. Does anyone know if all the issues up untill now with the Ramisis been resolved?

The issues are all resolved, but it's a first come first served basis, so you may be waiting a while. Hopefully not too long, though.
