Due to unforeseen circumstances the Ramisis launch will be delayed until Friday 3rd October.

The Sonicwarp team unfortunately lost a valuable member of staff this month, the team are still in shock with regard to this loss of life, and as a result this has delayed the launch a little. In addition we have been informed that there is a small delay regarding the official safety testing on the Ramisis which has also impacted on the launch date.

On the positive side, we are now in full production on the Ramisis, and we are confident that subject to no more unforseen circumstances we will launch 1st week of October. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

wonder how many have tickets for the original launch..sure glad i didnt book non refundable flight tickets

woh... sometimes i seem to have some real luck... been wanting to book train tickets for the past week, and finally went to yesterday evening, checked on here and found out just in time that it's changed... but now i'm not going to be able to attend... that'll be the first proper week of lectures at uni oh well will just have to wait for it to be delievered

Well that's certainly lucky!

Of course, our thoughts are with the team members at SW after their sad news, and it is good to know that a revised date is planned rather than an open postponement.

Slightly unfortunate for me, as I had negotiated a free ride with a school trip on 18th, so I might end up still going on the school trip but without the visit to Hamley's. Furthermore, no free trip on the 3rd! Still hoping it might be possible though, and I'll repost the list of possible attendees in due course. SW have confirmed that the launch is still at 10.30 am.

I agery with the last post are toughts are with the sw team and family that have lost, But i was told that a lot of the problems where because of safty testing which stopped them putting the ramisis into production can anyone shed any light on this?
