Is that most of them then?

9 = TPN (P) so here are 9 more. Some easy, some less so.

9 = LD (ND of C)
9 = R for MM hence
9 = L of the N

9 = M (D of J) although numbers vary
9 = C of H by the S
9 = B of IR in C.

9 = W of the W.
9 = G of R (at least according to LP of C.)
9 = O of A (in 3 Os. C, S, and T. D,V, and P. P,A, and A.)

The six-five special coming down the line was ITV's answer to the Beeb's "Top of the Pops." It is almost certainly the right answer. Saturday evenings just after a short six-o-clock news. Main presenter Jim Dale. The six-five special comin' down the line, six-five special right on time. Coal in the boiler, burnin' up bright. Six-five special racin' through the night.

9 = C in the S. Just realised this is probably the same as I mentioned earlier. 9 Circuits in the Styx. Mythology says the River Styx circles Hades nine times.

3 = B in a B. Long shot this because it seems to be phrased oddly for this answer. 3 Books in a Bible, representing the main translations of William Tyndale. The New Testament, The Pentateuch, and Jonah. I'd keep looking on this one.

But then again (and this is an edit)

3 = B in a B (WT). Three Beats in a Bar (Waltz Time). How come nobody got that one?

I thought it could be likely that in an abbreviation like ERS the S could stand for System, so I googled ER Sytem; Came up with this-

The unmanned spy drone systems that armies use these days are called several things but one of them is an Extended Range System. This consists of eight drones and all the ground control gear and crew.

So 8 = D in an ERS. 8 Drones in an Extended Range System.

Not totally sure about it but thought I'd chuck it in.
