I was thinking the same thing - I reckon a daily batch process updates the last date+time - I made a guess early this morning (around 01:00) and it hasn't shown up yet. And I think the figures mean total number of challenges rather than number of users.

No, it does update straight away when you make a guess, but it is confusing because the time displayed is 4 hours behind GMT, or 5 hours behind BST at the moment.

In the UK "chatting up" isn't necessarily a cyber-sex thing, it's just what we call it when you try to pull! e.g. chat up line = "get your coat, you've pulled", chatting up girls in bars/on the internet = trying to get them to go with you
