In my experience, there's no such thing as a 'simple' woman

I have just succombed and bought an Eagle ISIS together with my free NKryptor! :D

I have now registered it and am considering which riddle to go for in the award zone, but I was wondering, and I can't find the answer here anywhere ...

I can now access both the Eagle award zone and the normal pyramid search area, as I expected, but if I successfully solved a riddle and won a prize in the award zone, would I then still be able to use the key from the Eagle ISIS to search for pyramids and claim a coin, or would I be locked out of that in the same way that once you have claimed a coin you are locked out of the adventure?

The latter is correct.
If you win an Eagle awared zone prize, your Eagle Isis key is no longer valid to claim a gold or silver coin.
(The key itself will still be able to physically open a piramid though...)
That is exactly why I refuse to select a riddle for my Eagle Isis before I have my Ramisi5 key in hand, just in case I manage to crack another riddle...
The two databases (Eagle award zone vs Piramid hunt) seem to be properly connected, so I guess you will be locked out automatically as soon as you answer a riddle correct OR claim a gold/silver coin.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

Thanks for that clarification! Presumably though I could select a riddle to work on - it would only be when I answered it correctly that I would lose the chance to go for the pyramids.

I think you'll find that's not right.
As Dooners said, the Eagle ISIS entitles the owner to enter (and win) in both the award zone AND the normal pyramid hunt :)

LouIsis is right I'm afraid. I've just checked the terms and conditions, and although they appear not to have been updated with the change from Sharper Image to Eagle, it says:

If your Isis is engraved with The Sharper Image alongside the number you are eligible for The Sharper Image prizes and also Global Pyramid prizes. However, only one prize per Isis can be claimed from either The Sharper Image prizes OR the Global Pyramid prizes.

I guess the same applies with the Eagle ISIS.

My Eagle Isis doesn't say anywhere on it "TSI" or "The Sharper Image" so as far as Im concerned, this doesn't apply to me.
It also states just below:
If your Isis is engraved with Sonicwarp.com alongside the number you are eligible for Sonicwarp.com prizes and also Global Pyramid prizes.
But again, my Eagle Isis doesn't has "sonicwarp.com" engraved on it either, so this also doesn't apply either.
The fact is that in terms of how many prizes can or cannot be claimed is not stated for the Eagle Isis

Therefore, using the only other information available I conclude that I am eligible to win both prizes... and the only other information is...:

The Eagle Award zone states:
SELECT A MYSTERY PRIZE
> The Bonus Award Zone gives you the opportunity to win a fantastic prize.
> Prizes include a Nintendo Wii, an Xbox 360 plus many more.
> Simply select a mystery prize to reveal a hidden clue.
> If you are the first person to solve the clue, you will win the mystery prize.
(You must own an Eagle Isis to be eligable for any prize)
Which obviously explains that if your the first to slove the clue then you win a prize, but it then goes on to say:
WHAT NEXT
> As an Eagle Isis owner, you are also eligable to enter the Global Isis Adventure.
> You can log into the Global Isis Adventure website using your existing username & password.
> Visit http://www.isisadventure.com for more details.

So to me, this tells me that the I can win a prize in the award zone, then "next" I can register in the Global Isis Adventure too.
Notice it clearly says "next", NOT "or"

Well that's all very true of course ...

If you really want to know, then ask them!
Posting a question here has not proven to be an efficient way of asking SW something.
To me there is no doubt, only one prize per bought Isis.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

All along this has been a question that has popped up from time to time.

At the time of the TSI Isis release this was answered....An Isis can only be used to win one prize. So the winner of a TSI prize can not therefore go on to win a pyramid prize with the same Isis. This is also true for the Eagle Isis awards (which in effect is the Sonicwarp replacement for the defunct TSI award zone).

Understandably the word "NEXT" does not imply this but in the Ts&Cs it has been stated clearly that it has always been one Isis one prize.

Just to clarify even further, there is also a statement along the lines that someone winning a gold coin prize (or award zone prize) can not then go on to win another gold coin prize (or award zone prize) with an Isis from a free search. To win a second gold prize the second Isis must be a purchased one.

I hope this explains a bit for you.
