The plunger could activate a light which has to travel through lenses/mirrors to reach the windowed area to reveal a code,
which would then be used to open it......just a thought

Surely you would have to first turn layers the appropriate directions, which would probably not "line up" with anything, so you'll need a compass or protractor to measure the angles appropriately, after having solved the "instruction" clues, which are now cyphers instead of cryptograms, only that the numbers are all in reverse and +27.3. Of course, you'll also have to be sure to balance the Ramisis on the appropriate corner at just the right angle, orientation, and perspective in order for the devices inside to move into their appropriate places in order to reflect the light to the outside.

It's just that simple.

I initially thought that the A&D reference was to riddle number 14, but taking a closer look, Puzz posted his message after the pyramid riddle was released, so I now think that I may be wrong.

The A&D reference was for a puzzle that was being developed for the Angels and Demons movie. Unfortuntely after long discussions with the movie licensee the project had to be cancelled.
