as unpopular as it is ,i voted gold...hoping it would somewhat match my Isis1...and to me it looks like anodized aluminum gold....but im only a graphic arts lithographer :shock:

what would i know about color?

As far as I was concerned, we paid 300 bucks for the puzzle pictured above in cornettracing80's post, and I was happy with that.
But the latest picture looks so much better, so much more professionally produced, so much more in keeping with the Isis 1.

I also prefer the later blue and gold version

To me, it looks more like the first prototype that was shown at the Tutankhamun Exhibition. If you look closely you can see the ridges on the surface and it looks more equilateral.

Agreed. And, perhaps significantly, it looks more like a a real working puzzle than a mock-up!

Doesn't really look like it to me. Seems to be just raised but connected to the rest of the base.

Yeh, I have to agree with Kheldar, it just looks like a raised section.
That said, an Isis wouldn't be an Isis without a plunger to give one some sore thumbs :lol:
