i think that the "Isis2" should be referred to as "The Ramesis"...then as we go we can say...The Isis...The Ramesis...etc...ooooh wouldnt The Nimbus be cool?...anyway
are we going to call them isis 1-2-3 or by their puzzle names?

Interesting question.

Obviously SW have decided that it will be called Ramesis. Thinking about how it looks to people joining the adventure anew, Ramsesis sound more inviting than ISIS II, as it avoids the suggestion that they need to have bought ISIS I first. Then they buy it and are hooked, so they then go and buy ISIS I as well when they discover about ISIS V and the keys!

i think ramesis so that we wont get bored of the word isis as each puzzle comes out!! hmmm....??! er.... ramesis just sounds different!!

I think that SW go to great lenghts to pick the names of the puzzles. One of the criteria seems to be that the names must be hard to find the plural name for them.

What is the plural for Isis? Isiss, Isis's, Isisi ???

And what is the plural of Ramesis? Ramesiss, Ramesisis ???

great one steve!.....i had not thought of that before i call them my isis puzzles...how many isiss' do you have? yeah that sucks your right...
i am not sure the isis adventure is appropriate now either..but it is cemented in...the isis

If it were a latin word then the plural would be likely to be Ises, but as Isis comes from a name, then there is no reason why that should be the case.

In fact, the only place where I have found the plural of Isis used extensively is the Pyrahunters game, and there it is clear that the plural of Isis is simply Isis.

Goal: Collect all the Isis ...

I suspect therefore that Ramesis will be the same.

I think that he is not entirely unjust, I did call him "that blether from across the pond". But, "Freak" I must admit I find that rich coming from one that keeps a gigantic spider in his house, they freak me out. Bluesign2k, some might conceder your comment as insightful, but we are not going to turn this into a slagging match just to rank up more posts.

I wonder what the box will say. It would be odd to have a nice display box with "Isis I" printed on it but no display box with "Isis II". Perhaps it will say "Isis II: The Ramesis" so that everyone is happy.

have we ascertained the actual dimensions?
i assume it will take up the same space as an isis only in triangular shape
to steve...maybe "freak" was a little to forcefull a desription.
maybe "sick" would be better lol
