Yet again, I have been absent for some time.
Very belated congrats to Karen on the arrival of Adam.
I hope all is going well.
Also, congrats to Hannah for being the second person to solve this monster. Spurred on by your success I thought I would seek a little reassurance with a small issue I have with my 1C.
I will try not to be too explicit considering the nature of this group. (Not that I know anything worth revealing
)
One of the first things that I noticed about my 1C was that the plunger did not depress as far as my original Isis and a lot of my original thinking took this into consideration. Then one day I attacked the plunger with a little more gusto than usual and there was a click and the plunger dropped a couple of mm and stuck there!! A little gentle persuading and the plunger was coaxed back up. However, the plunger would now always go to the new depth, (with a little resistance at the "click-point") and would regularly get stuck. Sometimes, worringly so. I imagine this is the plunger catching on the "lid" and, as a consequence, that I had spent months not knowing whether I had reached the halfway stage, or not. Now, today, I find the plunger has decided to revert to it's original behaviour and does not wish to depress those final couple of mm!
Is there something wrong with my Isis or am I missing the significance? I am also surprised that the 1C has not developed any of the "slackness" that my original had developed after this amount of abuse.
Any ideas or reassurance would be gratefully received. I'm reasonably sure that these thoughts are the usual frustration fuelled paranoia, but, a little confirmation cannot hurt.
How is everyone else getting on? Has anyone else gone mad or is everyone focusing on the imminent Ramisis?
