We only have the quality of the Isis 1 to go on, and that is pretty damn good.
But what are the colours going to be like :?:
Are they all the same, or is it a lucky dip :?:
Or are they all just plain silver :?:

As far as I am lead to believe the Isis II will give access to the same pyramids as the Isis 1, but you will have to have a key from Isis 1,2,3 and 4, before you can open Isis 5.

I will be planning to remortgage the house if the 50% price rise continues.

Yeah, that is the main reason I was willing to pay so much for a puzzle I have never seen and has not been released.

Now that they have my money maybe they can afford to put out a video or a High res picture out!!!!! But, I can't complain today I have ordered my ISIS II and my wow mug. now I feel like when I was a kid and collected "box tops" to send away for my mystery prize.

Although I can afford to buy one I wont be as yet, I think they have just priced out a vast majority of existing players and future. It may be technically worth £150 but it is only a puzzle. I can see sales being low until Xmas when most of these puzzles will be bought for other people.

I'm going to wait for the revues.

(I'm not a coin chaser! there are no pyramids in Norway just mountains)

I am looking forward to the challenge of openning the ISIS II when the public hasn't opened one yet. I found out about the ISIS I after it had already been out for over a year and there were plenty of people who already opened it.

Being the first to try the puzzle isn't an incentive to buy one for me. After the disaster of the Nkryptor I bought which was a pre-purchase I think it is best to wait. (it's in a landfill somewhere now with the blank disc it came with).

The challenge for me can wait until the teething problems have been sorted. The NK was released before it was actually ready in my opinion, everything that could be wrong with it mine had it. Also I had to return an early ISIS, it was my second one so fortunately I knew how to open it and knew the second one wasn't perfect and would probably never have been opened unless you had already seen how it is supposed to be opened.

If you also remember the ISIS 1 had design flaws that mean't it could be opened easily without solving it. These have now gone thankfully.

I will leave the testing to you hard core players. Just hope they get it right. If it's not anodised like the NK was it will look poor sat next to the Isis 1

Well I have to say I'm torn between these two viewpoints! I've taken the plunge now, so too late to wait anyway!

When I was introduced to ISIS I, I had had numerous discussions about it over several pints before I actually bought one, so perhaps not surprisingly I opened it fairly quickly. Hence the challenge of opening ISIS II without the preamble is a strong one, not to mention the added challenge of getting it open before someone else does (you know who you are!) :D

Unfortunately, the weak US dollar and the 50% increase of the ISIS price has done it in for me.

I can't justify over $300 USD plus shipping from the UK for a puzzle. I was pushing it at the just under $200 USD... but now, it's just crazy.

I have sat back and watched the craziness with Sonic Warp for almost a year and I have to say that I am not impressed. Faulty puzzles, much hype about very little, even less solid communication. I think the day they asked for investors was the day it turned south for me.

And frankly when I saw the Treasure Chest game, I personally thought "well there is a spin on the investment need".

I think SW had a unique idea, but there just seems to be too much business sense lacking in the plan to keep this project floating and not p*ssing off the consumers and making us feel like we should have bought a $300 USD puzzle and felt good about it.

I total agree with getsis on this one. Sit back and wait... wait for the bugs... wait for the hype and see where it lands.

Puzz - you are a great guy and I know you and your team are trying hard... but there has got to be a fine balance between product vs. price vs. communication and momentum. This ride has been like allowing my niece to drive my car.... super fast... super slow... stop... fast... super slow... stop... fast... jam on brakes. Frankly as a consumer, I am ready to pull over to the side of the road and puke in a bag.
