So its been a week since the numbers square was guessed... why is it still up on the web pages with the option to buy the clue... surely the poor folk paying their £1 will be refunded (if they dont read this forum and know not to buy).
If they haven't got another to post up at lease pull off the paypal bit...

Yeh it's a bit like the phone competitions on the Telly, when people ring in and it already finished. Did they get fined millions!

OK then, if you are fed up with waiting for the new mystery picture, have a look at the Alternative Mystery Picture in the 'Other Puzzles' topic:

Thank you very much, I was both happy, and a little discouraged.
I did not think it would take that long, but it was still a fun thing to do.
I just have to beat the game now...
By the way, to all the people in America, Happy 4th!

Well, does anyone have a clue that realy works out?
It does look like the differences between consecutive prime numbers, but there are too many errors in there for this answer to be true.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

That is the answer - there is only one mistake, on the bottom row, but you need to know that the sequence of numbers starts top left and then spirals in towards the centre.

And it definitely has been solved, because after I saw the answer on this topic I sent it in (tongue in cheek) and got a reply to say it had already been solved!

I notice now the picture has been removed, but the page itself has not been updated so it now has a broken link. Maybe SW are struggling to find a new mystery pic, or perhaps they think we are solving them too fast!

Perhaps they should have a supplementary competition where we could submit possible mystery pictures, and there would be a prize for the ones they choose to use. :)
