Just one last post for me then Haggis. Did you here any more about that baby you delivered? Must have been a wonderful experience. I did hear of one case a few years back where the parents were so delighted with the event they named the baby after the paramedic who delivered him/her. Do you not think though, that "I name this child Haggis" will raise the Vicar's eyebrows a bit.

Well it was a bit Bizarre because the very next shift after I delivered the bady boy I mentioned, I delivered another baby boy. We didnt make it to the back of the ambulance that time though, we ruined her bedroom carpet!!!

My little joke is to ask the parents to name their baby after me, and I say that nobody ever has. When they ask me my name, I say "Angus"... :D
I always laugh as they try and be polite and not hurt my feelings. My name isnt Angus by the way. :D

But yes Doc it's one of those jobs that makes you smile the rest of the shift. All too often though its one in - one out. Strange how life balances itself out like that. :?

Thanks for all the support about searching for the Valentine's isis. I feel obliged to go and have another look, but Im sure there must be others searching.

Cheers all

Well, I have a couple of days next week when I could make the journey. Its a 5 hour round trip and the hike would take a few hours I guess. So, I need an early start to get most of the daylight to search.

Oh, and maybe a metal detector...

Its just gone 7am and the car is packed. I should be at the parking spot in 2 and a half hours. Then its a bit of a trek to the possible location. If I have a signal I'll try and post from the area using my Blackberry.

Hope the weather improves! :)
