With the applause and champagne corks fading from our ears I thought it was time to take a longer look at the finding of the Yorkshire pyramid location and at the discovery of that password.

Finding Silverdale. 37 North End, Bedale.

Some of the hunters who found Silverdale did it by Googling through the websites of the market towns of Wensleydale. Chamber of Trade and/or Tourism sites invariably list all the retail businesses in their town. Hunters were usually looking for synonyms and antonyms of the Golden Valley but some sought more, going on the artillery knot. The Rope Works in Hawes got several phone calls, both before and after the phone call embargo, followed by The Wensleydale Creamery, and my wife

Oooh, Evilkeen didn't tell me about the "Aphrodite" guess or talking to Ade! You learn something new every day...

He played that one close to his chest :P

Ooooooh, not quite true ....

I think I did say that I'd had another go at the password (through the dodginess of North Yorkshire phone signals), but our next conversation after that was along the lines: HH "Heh, I've got the password!!! .. " EK (halfway through a mouthful of supper) "O....h, <munch> g .. ooo ... d <munch> ... ", so WHAT my guess was seemed a little irrelevant then!

And in fact I didn't speak to Ade, Mrs Doc did that (when we eventually managed to get hold of him!!)

That is very well possible, as it does have YOUR four magic letters in it! :)
Thank you for adding another dimension to the already multi-dimensional Isis puzzle, Dr Iguana. I truly enjoyed reading your posts.
It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.

I hope the fact that you're still posting means that you've changed your mind about deserting us Dr. Iguana :D It would be a great shame to see you go, and the forum would not be the same without you :!:

Just because the pyramid is open, that is no reason that you have to leave us all Doc.
I for one shall miss your posts. I think that it was a good idea that you participated in the forum, in fact if you hadn't I don't know if I would have bothered driving a thousand miles on a hunch.
I think that more pyramid keepers should participate; this pyramid has been the most interesting one since I started hunting, probably due to the Doc's wise comments.
After all it was the doc that inspired me to write some poetry, when my friends heard that I had written a poem they were surprised, I am the last person that they would think of writing a poem.
On a slightly different note, have many silver coins been claimed?

Hi Doc
It is such a shame we are the opposite ends of the country but if we are ever up your way we will definitely pop in. My other half is a trained Goldsmith so you two can compare notes while I select items which are paramount to my continued existence!

Your participation on the forum made the password far easier to swallow.

If you leave your posts will be missed.
Life is too short to waste.

Thought I would bump this one up as just noticed someone is still paying for password guesses for this pyramid!
One tried just yesterday

Must be someone new who has not read back posts on the forum, so whoever you are read this and save your money, there are many more still containing gold

Both Evilkeen and I have received PMs from someone asking for help with this pyramid as the person had found the location but not the password. I know I replied (earlier this week) with a link to this thread and an explanation that the password is no longer needed. I never did get a reply, so maybe the person just didn't believe me.
