You're just in a huff because I said it was your turn to buy a round on Wednesday, aren't you.

On second thoughts Ade, yes, you're quite right. Lets get this Yorkshire Pyramid topic back to talking about me again; how could we ever forget that?
Shameful shift of topic, sorry, won't let it happen again.

meanwhile..... back at the pyramid location....

Haggis cant wait till tomorrow to try the password checker again so decides to head North to the Doc's location today (actually its Mrs Doc's location) and try and open this long standing pyramid.

As ever, the welcome was warm and expectations were high. This attempt fitted 'all' aspects of the clue in almost every respect.

But, it was wrong ... gutted ... :(

Oh well ! ... back to the drawing board...

Well it's kind of you to ask. I've gone all shy now, and I don't intend to go into a boringly long treatise, but seeing as you do ask:-

Favourite food; Just simple English roast beef and Yorkshire Pudding.

Kids, Three, all well up and with their own families now, one grandson and another on his way within the next fortnight.

Address. Sorry I can't give you that because a websearch would put you onto the shop which is where the pyramid is. I'll just say its a large stonebuilt Georgian farmhouse standing on it's own on the bank of the River Ure about a quarter mile from the road.

Favourite books- Poetry- Thomas, Larkin, Keats, Whitman, Rossetti. Books by Bill Bryson (whom I know, he used to live near here) and James Herriot (who used to visit us here at the farm).

Movies Action movies mostly which is wwhat I think Hollywood does best. For human emotion I prefer the theatre. Best film ever made-The Godfather.

If I go on too much more Ade will move this as well, horror section.

I think though that it would be rather nice if we had a section where everyone could put down a few details, just to know each other better.

How about you?

The only problem with that topic is that people seem to like their anonymity. For me my avatar tells a lot about me professionally. But I am married with a child on the way.

I think that it is obvious why this thread keeps changing subject, we all have the common interest, the Yorkshire pyramid.
I also think that it is better to deviate than ignore.
Still doesn't mean that anybody is any closer to solving the password.
Unfortunately at the moment I am not able to do a lot of searching due to work commitments, but I am dieing to hear what the password is, so come folks, get it sussed before I have to come back and scratch the rest of my hair out.

Can't get that honeybaked ham out of my mind.

Many years ago a deli in Sunderland had a notice on the counter. "Please do not lean on the bacon slicer as we are getting behind with our orders."

Well, after many hours of research i think i have a new lead to a password....

but as usual, there are options.... there are three difrent possibilities, all with a slightly difrent spellings, and no real reason to point at any one of them......

so yesterday it was off to the password checker. First guess was wrong, but that doesn't mean second or third guess are also wrong.... but with 3 more days untill i can try the next one, it is a long long wait....

whats worse, the more i look at it, there is a few other possibilities, all pronounced the same, but with slight difrences in spelling.... enough for the checker to say its wrong, but no indication on how close it is.....

its so so anoying.....

Well, I know I'm a little behind some of you here, but this week has been the first opportunity to get back to my old stomping ground of North Yorkshire, so the ideas for finding this pyramid were taking shape, and it was great to have a warm welcome from Mrs Doc this afternoon when we finally found it!

Also good to find an uncannily strange coincidental connection between my past existence in N Yorks and the good Doc and his wife!!

I personally don't agree with crack, but you will need some outside help, I have tried several avenues, it got so bad that I even tried meditating, but that just put me to sleep, "sleep" I hear you say, what's that? Something I did before I opened my Isis.
