the bad news is you have to search EVERY post, in every thread...

the way the "friends" were hidden, the seach will not pick them up...

once you find the first few, you will see why there is no point in trying to use the search....

Thanks for the advice smartybones. In that case I'll leave the searching to those with plenty of time on their hands. There cant be many who have trawled their way through the whole forum.

I dont have access to the 5% club. Does that mean I would never have found all the friends?

There aren't any in the 5% club, so don't worry about that.
It took me about 6 hours to find them all.
I now have them, and I'm sure I have solved the location as well - I just haven't got time to go on the 220mile round trip.

It's around 120 as the crow flies, for you. Probably making it nearer a 280-300 mile round trip.

That said, if I was 100% sure, then I'd be straight over - particularly as I think the first part of the second sentence indicates that this is a gold.

I was looking at a waterway, but considerably south of Falkirk. There is a synonym for the final word in the first line that describes a cascade of the things suggested by the first word. I took the third line to be a sporting reference (Rugby) to identify the town. It's the second word in the second line that never seemed to fit though.
