Stiff plunger

Clue help and progress on solving the Isis

Stiff plunger

Postby dwmmkopf » Sat Jan 05, 2008 2:03 pm

After playing with our isis we quickly got the third ball bearing released (we think) but we have encountered problems with the plunger in regards to clue 6. It is very easy to convince ourselfs that the plunger is stuck at certain points, but if you push from using a differenty finger it simply gives...

Can anyone tell us how far 'slightly' is?

Where your respective plungers also stiff?

p.s. our isis was from the free search so could this be the result of it being a second?

My plunger was/is pretty stiff too. If you press it in the middle, straight down it's a lot easier. And you will know how much "slightly" is when you encounter it. :D

Hi,

You could add a very tiny drop of 3 in 1 oil around the plunger, that should help to stop it sticking :)

(don't use a penetration oil though like WD-40)
