Clue help and progress on solving the Isis

Yet Another New Adventurer

Postby dantes_torment » Wed Dec 19, 2007 3:12 pm

I got my puzzle a few days ago and, right out of the box, the two images that appear to be smaller depictions of the Isis(I assume these are the 'placentas') aren't lined up. the top one is approximately 1/2 to 1 cm to the left. This is before doing anything to the puzzle. It won't budge in either direction, so I don't think it's just loose. Will this interfere in solving it?

Also, I here that the hieroglyphics on the box are important; does that include the ones on the side? Because I cannot seem to get the last of the residue from the "WAIT" sticker off, and thus cannot see part of one of the symbols.

Apart from those technical questions, I'd like to know (if it is possible to do so without ruining the experience) a few answers to these:

1. Would it help to decipher the hieroglyphics on the puzzle itself?

2. Only one part of the puzzle seems... ferrous. Is that important?

3. Should clue 1 be followed to the end, despite what other clues may say?

Admins, feel free to edit out anything too revealing.

Responders, don't answer any questions with too much information.

I would appreciate the help.

The placenta's should be aligned when you receive the ISIS, you may need to use a bit of force to reset them to how they should be, try griping the ISIS whilst wearing washing up gloves and turning the two halves to align the placenta. [Please note that this type of force is not required to open the ISIS]

If you try to work out the hieroglyphics on the box, you will find out whether those on the side of the box might help you

I'm afraid you'll have to work out your other questions on your own :)

Actually, in regards to your placentas being slightly out of alignment, my Isis came that same way. They aren't perfectly aligned like the demo ones at TSI. However, that did not stop me from opening my Isis. I've opened and closed it a few times now and everytime it lines up the same way with the top one slightly to the left. Don't worry about it. Good luck on opening it!

Thanks, that's reassuring. I was trying to twist it back into position, but it wouldn't budge. Glad it's not broken.
